Roll, Bride!

When Cory and I were looking for a site to get married, I briefly considered looking into City of Palms Park, the spring training home of the Boston Red Sox. After all, if they can shoot an episode of "Queer Eye" there, they can host a damned wedding. But let's face it... though we're both baseball fans, neither of us are rabid about it.

On the other hand, University of Alabama football fans are a different breed. Is that Bear Bryant walking her down the aisle? I thought he was dead!

Do you think they played "Rammer Jammer" instead of "Here Comes the Bride?"

Doomsday

I've essentially resigned myself to the fact that our wedding will probably be a disaster. Way too much family tension + alcohol (or, even worse, lack thereof) + not enough room for many non-family guests + A lot of do-it-youselfing = potential for disaster.

Hopefully, it won't be this bad. But I'm not counting on it.

By the way, on an unrelated note, why do people continue to do this?

Photographer? Check!

Cory went to meet with the photographer and sign the contract on Sunday night (yes, Sandy, we went with the guy who gives us the negatives). One more bridal task checked off the list!
