A Decision!
Or, to be more accurate... we've decided to make a decision... in four more months.
Here's the situation. Cory and I, as you know, have been stalling our decision to set a wedding date. Or a wedding location. Or just about anything else.
Why? Well, first of all, we had considered getting married back in Metro Detroit. But planning a long-distance wedding is bad enough... I'd need Jan to do a lot of the legwork back home. But then she decided she wanted to move to Arizona. That put the kibosh on Michigan. Second, we're both on the hunt for a new job. So we don't want to start planning a wedding here, and then end up moving away and starting all over again. So we decided to wait until we find better jobs, move away, and start planning a wedding wherever we live.
But then, things changed. Jan's staying in Michigan for at least a couple more years. That means we could get married in Michigan... though we're still not crazy about planning a wedding several hundred miles away.
So, we set a date... not for the wedding... but a cut-off date for making a decision. If we haven't found new jobs and left C-Town by February 2nd, we're going to have the wedding in Michigan. Why Groundhog Day? Why not?
Maybe we should get married in Punxsutawney instead.

One step at a time! I'm not going to ask about Jan, however, will she be doing most of the planning? You know, should the decision be made to create your wedding magic in Michigan.
